Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a wonderfully transformative form of yoga. Bought to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1969, it quickly expanded so that today there are teachers in almost every country of the world.

Kundalini Yoga is the science of sequence, rhythm and sound, working on every aspect of the body, mind and soul. It is an ancient system of self maintenance. It helps to conquer the mind, expand consciousness, improve health, flexibility and creativity. A core aspect of Kundalini Yoga are the kriyas, which are specific sequences of exercises to create a very precise and certain effect. The practise utilises unique combinations of dynamic exercises (kriya’s), pranayama (breath work), meditation, mudras, (hand postures), mantras (chanting) and relaxation.

It is particularly powerful when we practise together. Group energy amplifies the effects and in turn offers the possibility of healing and deep soul connection.
